For a quieter atmosphere early in the evening, I can play slower and softer music that matches the energy of the room and creates an elegant ambience. As things get busier and the dining room gets full and slightly louder, turning things up with arrangements of rock songs is a cool way to maintain the same elegant sound of violin with piano accompaniment, but adding a bit of higher energy music that is recognizable to restaurant guests.
The unique combination of live violin playing, awe-inspiring views of Niagara Falls, amazing food, and the anticipation of nightly fireworks at 10 pm come together to create truly unforgettable moments. I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to have a weekly performance where I feel comfortable enough to try new things and continuously develop my sound as a live solo violinist.
